Follower based social networks like Instagram or Snapchat are an interesting enigma, when I was in Los Angeles, I shot an Instagram influencer, Perkins Bien-Aime. Remy Martin paid $5000 for one image.

f have a vision or a dream conjuring stirring in your mind about how you can get your art and skill set before your audience. Social media is a key method to getting your work out there.

Ask yourself these questions:

What is your media identity?
What is your unique signature?
What techniques can I use to Gardner attention?

Let's use a controversial figure for an example. Terry Richardson is a force to be reckoned with. Terry has a signature that is distinct and highly identifiable. His marketing team has perpetuated the bad boy photographer persona owned. Bad press of him assaulting models is rampant.

As controversial as this is, this man commands more money in one session than most earn in one year.

‘You better start listening.’

This marketing strategy, whether right or wrong is successful. Create a signature to give birth to your identity. Not an easy task but it is something to ponder over.

My name is Eli Samuel and I have been a photographer for over 10 years. I think I may have come out of the womb holding a camera! Lol, I have shot most kinds of photography including pictures of family, strangers, events, street life, weddings, studio portraits, concert images, and friends, though I prefer to shoot fashion so I founded SAMUEL VISION to service fashion/editorial and corporate advertising. 

In my heart and if you know me, I am a little nerdy. I am a “photo enthusiast” as well as a passionate photographer. Blogging is my way of giving back.
